How are subject results graded? How do I know if I have passed the subject?


Answer

Approved grades of performance and associated ranges of marks for 100, 200 and 300 level subjects are as follows:

  • High Distinction 85% - 100%
  • Distinction 75% - 84%
  • Credit 65% - 74%
  • Pass 50% - 64%
  • Pass Restricted/Pass Conceded 45% - 49%
  • Fail 0% - 44%

TAFE CREDIT TRANSFER FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

There are many ways to satisfy the academic entry requirements for a Bachelor degree at UOW. Successful completion of an appropriate program may contribute towards credit or exemption in the UOW program you intend to apply for. 

The type and amount of credit transfer granted depends on the TAFE program and subjects completed, together with the program rules and structure of the UOW degree.
