IndexHow do I accept an offer?Accepting your offer - UAC applicants: If you received an offer through UAC you must accept your offer on-line at http://www.uac.edu.au/. To accept online please click on "For instructions on how to respond to your offer" from the UAC offer page and follow the prompts. Accepting an offer does not stop you from being considered in subsequent offer rounds (unless it is your first preference). You must accept your offer by the 1st February 2008 otherwise you may lose your offer. You do not need to send in the acceptance slip attached to the bottom of your offer letter - we will collect this from you on enrolment day. Please ensure that you bring your "Offer of Admission" letter with you. Accepting your offer - applicants who applied directly to the University: All you need to do is attend the University on the specified enrolment day (check the table below for your date and time). You must attend in person as the Higher Education Funding Act 1988 stipulates that the University 'may not authorise (by power of attorney or otherwise) another person to sign a form for HECS on the student's behalf'. Consequently, as you must choose a HECS option on enrolment day, parents or other friends/ relatives will not be permitted to enrol on your behalf. Proof of Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence - all studentsYou must bring proof of your Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence with you on enrolment day. You should bring an original or certified copy of one of the following documents: passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate (a driver licence is not sufficient). You will not be able to enrol if you do not provide the required documentation. Conditional Offers - direct applicants onlyYou are advised to check your offer letter for information regarding any conditions that may need to be cleared prior to your enrolment. TAFE CREDIT TRANSFER FOR FUTURE STUDENTS
There are many ways to satisfy the academic entry requirements for a Bachelor degree at UOW. Successful completion of an appropriate program may contribute towards credit or exemption in the UOW program you intend to apply for.
The type and amount of credit transfer granted depends on the TAFE program and subjects completed, together with the program rules and structure of the UOW degree.
