Careers Central @ Bega Campus

The Careers Consultant at the Bega campus is able to assist students in a range of ways. In particular, for students still studying at university it is possible to improve future prospects by establishing career goals and enhancing employability skills. Students are able to access the Careers Consultancy service for individual appointments to discuss tactics to create short-term and long-term career goals, manage aspects of a professional career via portfolio development, resume and formal application review, or to prepare for a personal job interview.

In addition, students interested in a work placement experience to strengthen skills and increase learning opportunities within a relevant professional setting can access information about current openings, by directly contacting the Careers Consultant. The university is working towards strengthening networks with professional businesses and government agencies in the local area to directly support students and to cultivate an environment that broadens professional horizons. New opportunities are emerging all the time, and students are encouraged to participate in a suitable placement.

Samantha Morris is available on Monday and Tuesday at the Bega campus.

Details of upcoming workshops are located on the noticeboard. For individual appointments you can book through CareerHub or email Samantha - smorris@uow.edu.au.
