Describe the Bega Education Centre in three words:
Caring – Supportive - University

Why did you choose the Bega Education Centre?
I live in the area. It has been a great opportunity to be able to study here.

What are the advantages of attending a University close to home?
The opportunity to study without having to move away or travel. If this degree weren’t available in Bega, I would not have had the opportunity.

Why did you choose your particular degree?
I have worked in Aged Care for about 10 years and I wanted to have more experience and responsibility in my workplace, and also to be able to work within the hospital system.

What do you enjoy the most about being a student here?
Very close group and university to study with. Everyone is supportive and helpful. The access we have to staff and computer room and library. I’m loving the experience!

What are some of your career-related ambitions?
To complete my degree, work in the hospital system and then work out which area I would like to specialise in.
