Why did you choose the Bega Education Centre?
I wanted to be able to undertake my studies without having to disrupt the other members of my family.
What are the advantages of attending a University close to home?
Choosing subjects to fit in with the family's daily schedule and studying subjects that can be contextualised locally
Describe what you enjoy the most:
The learning experience has been great. The tuition from staff is personal and the student environment is friendly and supportive.
What prompted your return to tertiary education?
A career change and the need to get some qualifications. The convenience of a local university enabled part or full time study.
What are some of your career-related ambitions?
I'm interested in education and health policy. Im also interested in primary education so I plan to undertake post-grad studies here at Bega and then assess my options.
TAFE CREDIT TRANSFER FOR FUTURE STUDENTS
There are many ways to satisfy the academic entry requirements for a Bachelor degree at UOW. Successful completion of an appropriate program may contribute towards credit or exemption in the UOW program you intend to apply for.
The type and amount of credit transfer granted depends on the TAFE program and subjects completed, together with the program rules and structure of the UOW degree.
